Under the mall, Steve and Dustin recognize the gate and immediately realize the situation is worse than they thought. Suddenly the alarm starts to blare as the base now knows they've been infiltrated. Steve and Robin hold a door closed long enough for Dustin and Erica to escape via the vents but they're both captured as a result. That said, it speaks to the bravery of these two characters that they put the lives of the kids above their own. Especially since Robin doesn't have
The Scoops Troop continues to fall, panicking all the while until they come to a sudden stop. There's a latch on the ceiling and the gang climbs out, only to find they're way too far underground to climb out. Joyce and Hopper arrive at one of the properties, and we see a Lynx truck parked outside, the same company Robin got the delivery from. The inside of the house is almost empty, but they can hear a noise coming from the basement. As they head down, Russian Terminator arri
We open to Eleven brushing her teeth at Max's, I think she's starting to suspect the Mind Flayer is in Billy. Max introduces her to Wonder Woman. At Mrs. Driscol's the paramedics are taking her to the hospital while she screams "I have to go back!" Jonathan and Nancy are understandably freaked out. The ambulance drives right by the Steel Mill, where Billy and Heather have taken her parents. Tied up and gagged, they leave the pair for the Mind Flayer in the shadows, made up of
Max and El are hanging out in El's room back at the Cabin where Max introduces El to 80s teen heartthrob Ralph Machio, AKA the Karate Kid. Again, it's nice to see Eleven being able to just be a normal girl. Even though El speaks even more than ever before, Millie Bobbie Brown still does a lot of acting solely with her facial expressions, not an easy feat, and she pulls of a real subtle one here. Max asks El if Mike is a good kisser, Eleven says she doesn't know because he's h
Billy escapes from the basement of the steelworks and takes off in his car. Finding a phonebooth (remember those?) he calls 911 but ends up in the Upside Down. Several people walk towards him and he asks, "What do you want?" Clearly becoming more frightened until he's looking at himself. Opening Credits. Eleven is impatiently walking around the porch, clearly waiting for Mike. She calls him, and Mike lies about not being able to see her. This is awkward and annoying. El can t
Okay, so this is going to be a little different. When I reviewed the final season of Game of Thrones I did its episode by episode. Stranger Things however is on Netflix and the whole thing drops at once. But, after watching it as God intended, in one sitting using my brother's account, I don't think I can do this as a complete review. This season is so good and so full I can't fairly evaluate it as one thing. So, I'm going to go through this episode by episode, partly because
So my next post is going to be a very detailed review of Stranger Things 3, which could take awhile since I want to go through it episode-by-episode instead of an overview of everything right away, because this is a series that deserves it. So there won't be a major post this weekend. Hopefully there will be next weekend. Thanks for understanding.
